James Paul "Jimmy" Lang, age 76, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away October 26, 2021, at St. Vincent's Hospital after an extended illness. He was born August 30, 1945, in Blount County, Alabama, and raised by his older sister, Ann, and her husband, Haden, in Warrior, Alabama. He was a graduate of Warrior High School and served in the Alabama National Guard. He married Mary Sandra Rearden in 1966 and had one son, Lance. He worked in numerous industrious jobs throughout his life and retired from Westinghouse Electric. He loved Alabama football, was an avid fisherman, and loved family vacations to the gulf. He is prececed in death by his parents, Rufus and Grace Lang; siblings, Junior, Jo Dudley, Bob, Bill, Jack, Don, Orville, Mavis Duncan, Ann Campbell, Guinda Angle, Joyce Sloan; nephew, Danny Campbell. He is survived by his sister, Jean Gilbert; son, Lance (Kimberly); grandsons, Jackson, Cooper, and Carter; numerous beloved nieces and nephews. A celebration of life with family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
