James Christian "Jimmie" Roberts, 77, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family.

Jim was a family man, and a loving husband and father.  He loved to fish, and was a handyman, he could fix just about anything.  Jim was also a great cook and loved his Little Debbie snack cakes.

Jim was preceded by his parents, Roy and Polly; two brothers, Phillip Roberts and Bruce Roberts; one sister, Jane Comeaux and daughter, Candie Roberts-Thrift.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Roberts; children, Jamie Pate, Chris Roberts, Tammie Gardner and Josh Roberts; sister, Cathy Cox; son-in-law, Jason Thrift; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with a memiral service to follow at 6:00pm at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home.  Brother Butch Barber will officiate.
