James Burl Rogers of Dora, Ala. passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the age of 84.

A visitation will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 26, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Immediately following the funeral service, everyone will travel of their own accord to Bethel United Methodist Cemetery, where we will all reconvene graveside for a brief committal service prior to interment.
