Janie Louann Phelps, 72 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 27th, 2019.

She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Eldridge and Ezell Hale, husband Jimmy Phelps, daughter Karen Wood, and grandson Justin Rylant.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa Turner, son Jesse Phelps, and daughter Melony Thompson. Grandchildren Benjamin, Nicole, Ariel, Samantha, Ethan, Hunter, Presley, Preston, Matthew, and Samuel. Great-grandchildren, Addison, Raylee, Ronan, Kensie, and Bryant. Sisters, Virginia Sherrell and Jeanie Shea.

Pallbearers will be Benjamin Rylant, Ethan Rylant, Hunter Colley, Presley Niblett, Preston Phelps, Matthew Phelps and Samuel Phelps.

A visitation will be on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 3:00pm.  Burial will be at Hayden Cemetery, with Brother Denny Armstrong officiating.
