Loretta Jean Skinner, age 80, of Warrior, Alabama passed from this life and into her heavenly home on April 15, 2024.

Jean was born in Searcy, Arkansas on March 8, 1944, to Agnes and Raymond Dobson. Jean was a dedicated believer and follower of Christ, and a proud member of Hayden First Baptist Church. She passionately loved her family and doted on her son and grandchildren. Her devotion to her family and belief in God led her through a triumphant transition from a struggle with dementia to full entrance into the presence of her Lord.

Jean is survived by her husband of 63 years, Don Skinner; her son, Randy (Lisa) Skinner; grandchildren, Rachel (Alex) Mason and Cody (Faith) Skinner; five great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation with Mrs. Skinner's family will be held at Hayden First Baptist Church on Friday, April 19, from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at noon. The committal service and interment will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama, following the funeral service at the church.
