Jeffery "Jeff" Earl McPherson, of Hayden, Alabama, was born to O'Neil and Sandra McPherson on

July 23, 1971. He lived a simple, yet meaningful life, until he was called to his eternal home on November 8, 2019.

He was a loving father to his four children; daughters Beth Samples and Liz McPherson, and sons Zachary and Kaven McPherson. He adored his grandsons, Grayson, Connor, and soon to arrive Noah and Elijah.

Jeff was a dedicated worker and was always looking for something to build and create. He found solitude in spending time outdoors, especially when it came to arrowhead hunting. He shared the love of adventure with the love of his life, Dana.

Jeff was happiest when he was making people smile and laugh, and he never put himself first. He never met a stranger and appreciated the smallest and biggest parts of his life that he lovingly left behind for his friends and family to remember him by. He loved God, his family, and everyone he met. He will truly be missed.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Tommy McPherson. He is survived by his father, Nelson O'Neil McPherson; mother, Sandra Brigham McPherson; the love of his life, Dana Leipert; daughters, Beth Samples (Justin) and Liz McPherson (Camron); sons, Zachary McPherson (Taylor) and Kaven McPherson; sister, Lisa Lea Johnson; grandmother, Emma Elizabeth McPherson;  multiple grandchildren, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be a visitation for Jeff Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019 at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with funeral services to start at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
