Mr. Jeffery Lee Rogers, affectionately known by many as "Jesse," age 61 of Morris, Alabama, passed away surrounded by his family, Wednesday, May 15, 2024. he was a God-fearing, strong-willed man. He read his Bible day in and day out, and could quote any scripture. He loved his wife of  42 years, his 4 children, and his 13 grandchilden more than anything in this world. Jeffery (Jesse) worked in the printing industry for many years. He was an entrepreneur and could find any way to make a living. In 2019 he had a stroke and did everything he could to overcome the effects. He learned to make the fullest of his circumstances and live a normal life. Jesse was a funny person and kept you laughing, leaving a lasting impression on the ones who knew him. The world will not be the same without him.

Jeffery is preceded in death by his mother, Gayle Patricia Rogers; maternal grandparents; Herbert Guy and Abbie Gayle Ramey; paternal grandparents, Mary Eveyln Rylant, and Oscar Holland Rogers. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Rogers; father, James Hugh Rogers, Sr., daughters, Nicole (Josh) McCombs, Brittney (Daniel) Franklin; son, Jeffery (Brandy) Rogers, Jr.; daughter, Melanie (Richard) Marque; grandchildren, Lexie, Brylee, Braelyn, Emma, Addie, Asher, Ava, Lilly, Caden, Teagan, Maverick, Liam, Remi.

There will be a visitation at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Monday, May 20, 2024 from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m.Interment will follow at Liberty Minter Cemetery in Kimberly, Alabama.
