Jennie Nell Morgan, age 72, of Hayden, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

A visitation will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery.

Jennie was a great person, who was very loving and caring, with a good spirit about her. She loved her family and children very much. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jennie was preceded in death by her first husband, John Morgan; second husband, Mike Hammock; son, Chris Morgan; grandchild, Whitney Morgan; parents, Flora Nell and Walter Andrew Barnett; and brother,Olvin Ray Barnett. She is survived by her children, Robert Morgan and Camellia Burns; grandchildren, Christopher Morgan, Thomas White, Victor Burns, Bethany Burns, Niccol Russell (Patrick); brothers, David Barnett (Dora) and Emmett Barnett; sister-in-law, Deborah Barnett; great-nephew, Daniel Warden; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
