Jerry Wayne Lecroy, Jr., age 61, of Warrior, AL passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022. He was born March 25, 1961, to Jerry and Marcille (Starnes) Lecroy and raised in Warrior, Alabama. Jerry graduated from Warrior High School in 1979. He worked at Hughes' Hardware store in Mt. Olive across from the hot dog stand, where he would get a hot dog from a young lady named Vickie Arrington. On May 22, 1980, he married Vickie Arrington. They celebrated their 40th Anniversary in May of 2021. The had Ashley Lecroy (Horton) in 1986 and Jeremy Lecroy in 1988. Jerry was know to tell a joke or two. He liked to play guitar, and he loved to work on his old hotrod. He was a businessman. Jerry would do whatever to help out a friend. He loved his family very much. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Earney and Marie Starnes, Ira and Mary Lee Lecroy. He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Marcelle Lecroy; wife, Vickie Lecroy; children, Ashley (Braxton) Horton; Jeremy (Jillian) Leroy; 5 grandchildren, Alyssa, Kyler, and Bentley Lecroy, MaKayla and KayLee Horton; a host of family and friends. There will be a visitation for Jerry at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, with remembrance service beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Graves Gap Cemetery.
