Jessica Ruth Kupfer was born June 8, 1981 in Birmingham, AL, and passed away August 11, 2023. She spent her early years in Hoover, AL attending Hoover City Schools. At 16, she moved to Trussville, AL and graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School. In her youth, she enjoyed the sports of softball, volleyball, golf, and soccer. She began working at 16 as a server at a local restaurant, and throughout her life, at various establishments, she continued to graciously wait on her beloved customers with a smile and encouraging word. She was currently working toward a degree in Computer Science through Troy University Online. She had a lifelong love of dogs and dearly loved her dog Bella. Her favorite times were at the beach finding amazing seashells, looking at beautiful rainbows, and enjoying lovely sunsets.

She is survived by her children, Alysa and Charles Kupfer; her partner, Glen Spradlin; mother and step-father, Jane and John McCurdy; sister, Jenna McCurdy; father and step-mother, Lee and Sue Kupfer; brothers, Pete and Kris Kupfer (and their families); aunts, Lynn Holland and Edna Waller (and their families); grandmother, Nelle Murphy; as well as scores of loving cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Pat Kupfer; step-brother, Jeremy Young; and grandparents, Trenton Murphy, Jean McCurdy, and Nina and John Riemeris.

A graveside service will be held at Bethel Cemetery in Warrior on Friday, August 18, 2023, beginning at 1:30pm . Services in care of Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home.
