Jessie Colburn, age 96, of Cordova, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Mrs. Colburn was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charley Murries McLeroy and Mary Elizabeth Baker McLeroy; husband, Cecil Milton Colburn; brothers and sisters, Fannie Mae McLeroy Creel, Raymond McLeroy, Bess McLeroy Joiner Burgess, Emma McLeroy, and Edward McLeroy; niece, Carol Ann McLeroy Tavel; and nephew, Charles Thomas Creel. She is survived by her nieces, Betty McLeroy Davis and Jo Ella Creel Morgan; nephew, Dale Mixon Creel; and niece-in-law, Jodi Creel. A visitation for Mrs. Colburn will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Saturday, April 3, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Mr. Jerrel Fikes to officiate.  Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Church of Christ Cemetery in Corner.
