Jimmy "Jim" Reese Chapman, age 66, of Morris, Ala. passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Zack D. Chapman II and Betty J. Murry; and his son, Jimmy Reese Chapman II.

He is survived by his wife, Anna M. Chapman of Morris; daughters, LeeAnn Naugher (Glen) of Piedmont, and Stephanie Ayers (Blake) of Springville; grandchildren, Destinie and Christopher; siblings, Janice M. Dimmig of Hokes Bluff, Zack D. Chapman III of Gadsden, and Thomas W. White of Southside; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jim served his country in the Army and was a proud Marine Corp Veteran. He was an avid weight-lifter who loved playing a good game of poker, riding his Harley, and dancing.

A memorial service for Jim will be held at the American Legion 71 - 201 Griffin St SE Attalla, AL 35954 on Saturday, March 13, from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

In honor of his time served in the military, it was Jim's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Semper Fi & America's Fund to help his brothers and sisters who have also proudly served our country.
