Joe Franklin Dockery, age 65, of Morris, AL passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023.

He was a huge Alabama football fan who enjoyed watching westerns and wrestling. He also loved nascar racing and dirt track tracing. More than anything, though, he loved all his family and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Calvin Dockery. He is survived by his sisters, Clara Swann and Charlotte Jones (James); nephews, William and Shannon Swann; as well as a host of extended aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation for Joe will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Saturday, March 4, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Bro. Billy Martin to officiate. Interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
