John Roy O'Briant, Jr., age 82 of Warrior, Ala. passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025. John loved his family and was married to his wife, Evelyn, for 49 years before her passing. He loved meeting people and driving around town. But John's biggest love in life was for his Savior. He talked to God daily and knew everything on Earth was His. He enjoyed listening to gospel music and learning more about God. He wanted everyone to know of God's love. John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence John O'Briant and Dovie Smith O'Briant; his wife, Evelyn Verne Campbell O'Briant; son, Chris Henry O'Briant; daughters-in-law, Debra O'Briant and Lisa Hill; and granddaughter, Arin Crowe.

A memorial service celebrating John's life will be held at Liberty Baptist Church in Kimberly, Ala. on Saturday, March 8, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

He is survived by his sons, Michael and Clarence David O'Briant; daughter, Evelyn K. Crowe; sister, Martha Lou Bates; and grandchildren, Amanda (David) Loggins, Casey Crowe, Adrian Thomas and Zackary Thomas.
