Johnny Lindale Cupps, age 72, of Hayden, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, D.D. and Mary Beaulah Cupps; brothers, Robert, Cecil, William, Roger and Charles Cupps; and sisters, Shelby Gunter and Martha Reed. He is survived by his wife, Anita Rickels Cupps; daughters, Sherry Cupps Burns (Jeffery) and Jenny Cupps; grandson, Cole Burns; granddaughter, Courtney Burns; sister, Mary May; brothers, Roy, Stanley and Gary Cupps; brother-in-law, Butch Rickels (Joyce); sister-in-law, Sharon Steele; as well as a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. A visitation for Johnny will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home the following day, June 19, 2020 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Cupps Family Cemetery.
