Joseph Vincent Mari, age 32, of Warrior, AL, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021. Joey always knew how to bring a smile to the room and when it came to work he always gave 110%. With his family, his love was unmatched, as he had a giant heart. His accomplishments span over so many areas and years, however, he served proudly and honorably with the Alabama National Guard with a deployment to Iraq. He also received a certificate in Automotive Repair from Bevill State Community College. His hobbies and favorite things were spending time with family and friends, cooking countless meals, and enjoying the outdoors. The most lovable aspect of Joe was that, despite having personal obstacles, he put family first, and his work ethic was above the rest. To say he will be missed doesn't begin to describe the impact he left behind on his family and friends. He wasn't just a son, a brother, or friend, he was so much more. Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Mari. He is survived by his father, John Mari; brothers, Steven Hutchinson (Alicia) and Timothy Mari (Jamie); sister, Julie Freeman (Jay); girlfriend, Kayla Sawyer; niece, Chloe Hutchinson; nephew, Jackson Mari; as well as the newest addition to the family, soon to be born Baby Freeman.  A visitation for Joey will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Friday, November 26, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
