Joy Salyers, age 62, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Joy graduated from Warrior High School, and furthered her education at Wallace State Community College and Samford University. She graduated with a degree in nursing, and worked as a RN. She also worked as a beautician for many years. Joy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Earl and Grace Marsh; brothers, Ray and Bob Marsh; and sister, June Nail. She is survived by her husband, Al Salyers; daughter, Grace Salyers Waldron (Drew); granddaughter, Stella Waldron; sister, Shirley Marsh Webb Hover (Dan); as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. A graveside service will be held for Joy at Marsh Family Cemetery on Sunday, December 27, at 2:00 p.m., with Bro. Phillip Jones officiating.
