Judith Ann Sharit of Gardendale, Ala. passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Judy was preceded in death by her son, Charles "Eddie" Edward Lawson, Jr.; sisters, Opal Matthews, Ruthie Dill, Vera Mann, Bonnie Davis, Florine Lawrence, and Ann Hayes; and brothers, V.W., O'Neal, Jerry, Lewis and James Edward Lowe. She is survived by her husband, Roger Sharit; daughter, Xandra Parker (Neal); granddaughters, Natasha Lang Wright (Zach) and Britney Parker; great-grandsons, Phoenix Salgado and John-Neal Parker; and sister, Wilma Roberts.

A visitation for Judy will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for guests, with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Calcedonia Cemetery.
