Julia Catherine Keown, beloved daughter of Benjamin and Katie Keown, went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2026.

Julia was deeply loved and eagerly awaited by her parents, her big brother, and her entire family. In the months before her birth, she brought great joy to those who already knew and loved her.

She is survived by her parents, Benjamin and Katie Keown; her brother, Benji; her grandparents, Tony and Suzanne Willoughby, Michelle and Jimmy Cook, Al and Wanda Keown, and Ruth Willoughby; and many loving family members.

Though her time with her family was far too short, Julia will always be their beloved daughter and sister, and her place in their family will never be forgotten.

A private funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon, August 22nd at St. Henry Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Henry Catholic Church Cemetery.

Flowers may be sent to St. Henry Catholic Church at 511 5th St W, Warrior, AL 35180. Those wishing to honor Julia’s memory may also make a memorial contribution to Red Bird Ministries, a Catholic ministry supporting families grieving the loss of a child.
