Julian Angus, Jr., age 51, of Hayden, Alabama, was called to eternal peace, Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theordore and Edith Ferreira. He is survived by his wife, Angela Angus; daughter, Marina (Chandler) Rockett; son, Julian Angus, III; stepson, Cody (Jess) Bartlett; stepdaughter, Michah (Bradley) Lovejoy; grandchildren, Wynonah, Haze, Norah, and Ben; parents, Julian G. Angus, Sr., and Eunice F. Angus; sister, Cris (Brian) Ryder; nieces, Bella, Tina, Kayla, Beth; his beloved chocolate lab, Chewy. Julian could best be described as a loving, warm, compassionate person. He was joyful, compassionate, playful, and quite  adventurous. Julian was a helpful, industrious, and kind friend. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was humble, easy-going, and made conversation easy for others. Julian had a playful side, and an infectious laugh. He loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His children and grandchildren were his proudest accomplishments in life. Julian enjoyed tinkering and fixing anything, being outdoors, nursing withering plants back to health, and playing with his cherished dog, Chewy. He loved to cook and try new foods. He especially loved laughing with great friends and his dear family. Many admired him for the way he cared for others, especially his family. He always encouraged others to enjoy life and experience new things, and this is one of the many admirable qualities his family loved most about him, that and his wonderful fun, playful and mischievous nature. The family will receive friends at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-8:00 p.m. the evening of Wednesday, May 25, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m in the chapel Thursday, May 26, 2022.
