June Thomas Adams was reunited with the Lord and her family on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at age 71. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jessie Adams, Jr.; one daughter, Carol Louise Adams Moore (Brad); three grandsons, Alex, Mitchell, and Zack; one brother, William Earl Thomas (Jan); two sisters, Jan Thomas Jett and Kay Thomas Fassina; brother-in-law, Johnnie Adams (Sandy); nephew, Kyle Fassina; nieces, Julie Bottomlee, Cinnamin Goodwin, Lauren Kiser, Kacey Calvert, and Misty Petersen; and other extended family. June was preceded in death by her parents, Othel and Louise Thomas; brother, Ben Thomas; and brother-in-law, Joe Jett. She retired from the Social Security Administration after 39 years of service. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 1:30 p.m. 3:00 p.m. at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at Warrior Cemetery.
