Karan G. Lee passed away peacefully on the morning of May 16, 2022. She was 79 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Dean Lee; parents, Earl L. and Lena B. Glass.

Most of her career was spent in the mortgage and finance industry where her gift for helping others was realized. Meeting new people and sharing stories and advice brought her much joy. Karan never knew a stranger. You would be blessed with her contagious smile and genuine well wishes if she happened to land in your checkout line at Walmart. After retirement, she enjoyed hunting for a good bargain and may have even been seen around town at the thrift store or "dumpster diving" for a purpose. She delighted in sharing her treasures and finds with those in need. Her most beloved trait was having a huge heart for disadvantaged animals. She adopted and cared for numerous strays over the years, most of which she didn't acquire intentionally. Animals just knew they would find a loving and accepting companion once they landed on her doorstep. She perfectly exemplified a parent's unconditional love and will be greatly missed.

Her surviving immediate family include: son, Dean Lee; daughter, Tanya (Tommy) Fowler; granddaughters, Marissa and Lauren Fowler; brother, Ron (Sandra) Glass; a niece andseveral nephews. Family and close friends will gather for a private Celebration of Life and spreading of ashes.
