Katherine "Kathy" Faris Cotton, our loving Mother and Granny, age 74, of Pinson, Alabama passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Marvin (Gord) Cotton.

She is survived by her children, Patricia (Bobby) Marcrum, Earnest (Angela) Cotton, David (Dawn) Cotton, and John (Sandy) Cotton; grandchildren Bobby Marcrum, Chance Cotton, Copelyn Cotton, Madelyne Cotton, and Jordan Sullivan; and one brother, Johnny Lee Dodson.

A very special Thank You to the palliative care unit at UAB Hospital for the care they provided Kathy with during her time of need.
