Kenneth Brooks, age 89, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021. He is survived by his children, Carol Krofchick (Ricky) and Alan Brooks (Sandy); grandchildren, Amy Krofchick Harrison (Cole), Emily Brooks Hamby (Tyler), Landon Brooks, and Noah Brooks; great-grandchild, Brooks Pharr Hamby; niece and nephew, Gayla Blankenship (Martin) and Brian Brakefield (LeAnn); cousin, Betty Reid; special caregivers, Theresa and Olga; special friends, Bobby and Betty Campbell, Pat Dake, Marcille and Jerry LeCroy; as well as a host of extended family members and friends. Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Verlie; and son, Kenny Brooks. A visitation for Mr. Brooks will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, February 18, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Warrior Cemetery.
