Mr. Kenneth Summerford, age 79, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home February 26, 2022. In his younger days, Ken served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was the owner of Ken's Kustom Cycles, and spent many years in the motorcycle business, and enjoyed riding whenever he could. Ken played bass guitar for over fifty years, with the last twenty years playing for the Lord. He was preceded in death by his his parents, R. Q. and Burvle Summerford; He is survived by his wife, Diane Summerford; children, Kenneth Barclay Summerford (Greg), Jimmy Childers, Stacey Armstrong (Craig); Chris Turner (Demetria); grandchidlren, Chelsey Diana (Faith), Steven Chase, Jacob Hunter, Jordan Craig; great-grandson, Brantley Armstrong; brother, Ralph Summerford ( Nancy). The family will  receive friends in the chapel Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 p.m., followed by the service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery (Hayden, Alabama). Pall bearers will be Chase, Jacob, and Jordan Armstrong, Chris Turner, Ronnie Alred, Jason Mays, and honorary pall bearer, Boyd Strickland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Olive Grove Congregational Methodist Church, Mt. Olive, Alabama.
