Kent Faucett of Oneonta, Alabama passed away on Sept. 23, 2023 at the age of 84. He is now reunited with his parents, Frank and Polly Faucett and his brother, Hugh Faucett, as well as his infant son ________. His love and his essence remain in the heart of his wife, Mary Jo Faucett and his five children: Lisa Kim Long (husband- Mike), David Faucett, Mona Downs (husband- Phillip), Connie Faucett and Shasta Faucett.

Kent and Mary Jo were married 54 years and lived for one another. His Family was the center of his world. His Greatest pride and Joy came from the birth of his two grandchildren, Phillip Noah Downs and Hannah Elizabeth Downs. These two made him "Paw-Paw" to Noah and "Popee" to Hannah, a title that he once said made him richer than a king.

He retired from The City of Birmingham after 30 years of service and also from AAA Cooper Truck Lines as a fork lift operator. Kent Faucett worked hard, devoted his life to his family, and will forever be loved. He is now at rest in Haven

There will be a visitation for Mr. Faucett at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home, Sept. 27, 2023 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM with funeral service to start at 3:00 PM. Burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery.
