Lana Sapp Barker, age 66, went to be with Jesus on December 7, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Jackie Sapp. She is survived by her two daughters, Kristy Hughes (David) and Leigh Ellen Turner; sister, Brenda George (James) and brother, Bill Sapp (Janet). She leaves behind five grandchildren that she adored, DJ Hughes (Kimbre), Brooklyn Turner, Dylan Hughes, Kennedy English, and Grayson Burns. She also leaves behind one niece, Erica George and two nephews, Heath and Austin Sapp that she loved very much and a host of many great friends. Lana was affectionately know as "Grandmother" and will always be remembered by how much she loved her family and friends and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 6:30 p.m.
