Larry Robbins, of Morris, Alabama, passed to eternal life, Monday, June 27, 2022, at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Robbins; He is survived by his daughters, Jammie (Sherman) Everett; Staci (Ross) Madak; son, Jimmy (Lisa) Gay; granddaughters, Miranda Everett, Monica Everett, Jasmine Gay, Kendall Gay; grandson, Owen Madak; sister, Jan (Ralph) McCary; several nieces and nephews. Larry was the kindest and most gentle man. He loved his family, especially his grandkids. He loved dirt track racing and spent most of his life racing himself, or working on race cars for his son, son-in-law, and granddaughter. His proudest moments were marrying his wife, Betty, and when his grandkids were born. His hobbies included scuba diving, four-wheeler-riding and car-collecting. The family will receive friends at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 29 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday beginning at 11:00 a.m. with committal and interment services following at Oakwood Cemetery, Gardendale, Alabama.
