Leland Good, 92, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on Thursday, May 30, 2019.

Leland faithfully served his country in the United States Army during World War II.  He spent a wonderful 52 years with his first wife, Cornell, and attended Pleasant Hill Church.  Leland was a faithful christian man, and was a great family man.  After Cornell went to be with the Lord, Leland enjoyed yard saling, which is where he met his second wife, Virgie.  Leland and Virgie attended Antioch Church of Christ, where he continued to follow his faith.

Leland spent many years working as an electrician under the IBEW union.  He would follow his work around the south east, moving all over, including Tennessee, Florida, and where he ultimately ended up, Alabama.

Leland is preceded by his parents, Byrd and Hattie Good, his first wife, Cornell Good, his second wife, Virgie Good and his son, Garry Good.

He is survived by his daughters, Janna Good and Patricia (Frank) Spahn, 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 15 great great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Minister Devin Dean to officiate.
