Lillian C. Lane, age 89, of Hayden, Alabama, was called to her eternal home November 23, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Lillian Tucker Cochran; husband, John H. Lane. Mrs. Lane is survived by her daughter, Karen Lane; nieces, Linda Mellown, Lisa Lane; honorary daughters, Yvette Johnston, Debbie Hall; many precious family members and friends. She was a long-time member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. Lillian was a loving and devoted mother, wife, and homemaker. She was an excellent cook, and was well known for her delicious dressing and cakes. She loved all kinds of needle-work and was talented with sewing, crocheting, and quilting. Mrs. Lane will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her. A special thank you is extended to Hope Hospice and all those family members and friends that helped take care of her. A visitation will be held in the chapel Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
