Louie E. Fowler, 87, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

After faithfully serving his country in the Army, Louie attended the University of Alabama and obtained his Masters Degree.  He then worked at the Veterans Administration in Tuscaloosa for over 30 years as a Corrective Therapist.  He helped disabled veterans and amputees be fitted with prosthetics to be able to regain mobility and continue to live their lives to their fullest capabilities.

Louie is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Fowler and his parents Lonnie Edward and Naomi Fowler.

He is survived his son, Dale Fowler; daughter-in-law, Dawn Fowler; and his four granddaughters, Tiffani Brooke Richey, Morgan Haley Fowler, Hayden Elise Fowler and Peyton Nicole Fowler.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 11:00am at Hayden Cemetery in Hayden, AL.
