Madeline McKown, age 61, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019. Madeline really loved spending time with her girls and her grandchildren. She is loved very much. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rena Cartee; spouse, Thomas McKown III; and brother, Benjamin Cartee. She is survived by her father, Arie Cartee (Kathleen); brother, Joseph Cartee; son, Christopher McKown; daughters, Shellie and Abbie McKown; granddaughter, Lillian McKown; grandsons, Owen McKown and Elijah Campbell; and uncle, Buddy Cartee. A visitation for Mrs. McKown will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Friday, January 3, from 1:00pm- 2:00pm, with funeral service beginning at 2:00pm. Burial to follow at Warrior Cemetery.
