Obituary

Mancil Norman Sharp, age 78, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away at Diversicare of Oneonta on December 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paskel and Marie G. Sharp; wife, Martha Sharp; sister, Janice Sharp Hall; brother, Weiss N. Sharp. Mancil is survived by his sisters, Shirley (Dalton, Sr.) Chandler, and Kay (Terry) Rock; sister-in-law, Tamela Sharp; nieces and nephews Teresa (Tim) Glass, Dalton, Jr. (Jennifer) Chandler, Jeff (Kelly) Chandler, Nicole (Scott)Woody, TJ (Ashleigh) Rock, Allie Sharp; a host of great nieces and nephews.

Mancil served as a police officer with the city of Mountain Brook and later as a detective for the city of Fultondale until he retired. He then owend a lawn care service for many years. After retirement, he enjoyed being at the lake fishing, cooking, and doing watersports with his wife, Martha. He enjoyed motorcycles and traveling with a Christian biker club. He loved God, his wife and his family.

A graveside service will be held for Mancil at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Leeds Wednesday, December 28 at 10:00 A.M.
