Margaret P. Thomas 92 of Mount Olive passed away Monday March 18th 2024 peacefully at home. She is preceded in death by her husband Albert E.Thomas Jr, Her parents Nezzie and David Powell and her brother Kenneth Powell and sister in law Margaret Powell. She is survived by her son Albert E. Thomas III (Susan) Grandchildren Kayla Helms (Jeremy), Karlee Thomas (Savannah), Valen, Vanessa and Samantha and a host of great grandchildren. She graduated the Carraway school of nursing in 1953 and was a nurse for 62 years serving the Birmingham community. She was a loving mother and grandmother and made a big impact on her family and community.  She will be missed. Funeral arrangements are Celebration of Life Sunday at 2 pm at Black Creek Park and Monday March 25th at 2 pm graveside only at Warrior Cemetery.
