Mrs. Marjorie Hallman, age 96, passed peacefully away Thursday, January 18, 2024. The funeral service will be held at Stewart's Chapel Methodist Church on Monday, January 22, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Prior to the funeral service, an hour long visitation will be held at the church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Hallman was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hallman; son, David Jones; daughter, Sandy Rouse; granddaughter, Tammy Fernandes. She is survived by her daughters, Edie (Glenn) Rouse, Brenda (Mark) Dickinson; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren.

Marjorie had a strong love for her church family at Stewart's Chapel. The people and place were special to her. She had a deep love and sense of family, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren, and the generations of joy they provided for her.

She was a free-spirited lady, who had a witty personality and a sense of self and originality. Even though she could be witty, charming, and kind, she maintained an independent spirit and a strength that exuded resoluteness and determination. She most certainly will be missed by her family and friends.
