Marlene T. Cochran, age 80, of Warrior, went to be with Jesus on March 10, 2023, surrounded by all five of her children. Marlene was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Billy G. Cochran; her parents, James and Lucille Kubart; brothers, Jimmy Kubart, Ronnie Kubart and Thomas Kubart; sister, Margie Kubart Jones. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Winnett (Bobby), Debbie Freeman (Jason), Melanie Ogle (Rodney), and Cathy Cochran (Florian); son, Billy Cochran (Andy); granddaughters, Julie Winnett Howard, Allison Winnett Brackett, Molly Winnett, Cheyenne Freeman, Katie Ogle Powell, and Ashley Ogle; grandsons, Ryan Winnett, Derrick Bibb, and Jonathan Bibb; great-grandsons, Asher Howard and Alexander Howard; great-granddaughters, Annabelle Howard, Avery Howard, Olivia Brackett, Adley Williams, Autumn Bibb, and Lora June Powell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Marlene worked at Piggly Wiggly in Warrior for over 30 years before retiring. She loved taking care of her beloved dog, Charlie. She enjoyed working in her beautiful flower garden and listening to her gospel songs. A visitation for Marlene will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 14, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, with funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm. Bro. Christopher Berry to officiate. Interment to follow at Warrior Cemetery in Warrior, AL.
