Martha Lynn Jaynes— December 18, 1954 - May 23, 2025
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I inform all that my beloved wife, Martha Lynn "Linnie" Jaynes, has passed. She left this walk of life on Friday, May 23, 2025, to begin her eternal life with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her absence will leave a tremendous void in the hearts and lives of all the people who knew and loved her. We find peace and comfort in the fact that she is now free of worldly pain and sorrow, and will forever live in serenity. Linnie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She loved her family dearly.
She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Linnie graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in business. She worked and retired from Drummond Coal Co. after 25 years.
Martha was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Terrell Fuller, Sr. She is survived by her husband of forty-seven and a half years, Jerry Gordon Jaynes, Jr.; one daughter, Lori Jaynes Jackson (Ryan); mother, Martha Sue Barden Fuller; two brothers; Eugene Terrell Fuller, Jr. (Wendy) and James Hubert Fuller (Denise); as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
Family will gather at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 for visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Funeral service will follow graveside at Gethsemane Cemetery, 12:00 PM.
