Mrs. Mary Kelley, age 78, of Hayden, Alabama, passed peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Kelley; daughter, Alicia Joy Kelley; brothers, Harlan, Hoyt,  and Howard Warden; sisters, Donna Freeman, Janice Rhodes, Marie Warren, and Bernice Stone. She is survived by her brothers, James and Abb Warden; son-in-law, Brent Baker; niece, Gina Perryman; several nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.

Mary was strong-willed and independent, but loving. Even though she appeared to have a tough exterior, she had a kindness and soft-spot for special people in her life. She loved flowers and watching hummingbirds.

A visitation will be held in the chapel at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow immediately at 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
