Mary Alice Moman, age 82, of Kimberly, AL, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021. Wife to Forrest Aaron Moman, mother to her five children. It's hard to put into a few words a life of 82 years. She was beautiful inside and out… lovely in every way. Her greatest accomplishment was knowing and serving Jesus. She was a wonderful singer. She loved reading and writing poems, and she wrote a short story book about her children. She was a magnificent chef and an accomplished seamstress. She would bring fun into our everyday lives by playing games and taking long walks in the rain. What a wonderful wife, friend, and confidant to her husband of 64 years. Her beautiful smile will always be in our hearts. Oh how we will miss you! Mrs. Moman was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jesse Mathew Johnson and Cora Lee Mitchell Johnson; brother Thomas M. Johnson. Mary is survived by her loving husband, Forrest Aaron Moman; sons, Timothy Luke Moman, Joseph Aaron Moman; daughters Pamela Yvonne Creel, Cynthia Rena Norris, Penny Lynn Hallmark; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grand children.
A visitation for Mrs. Moman will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Bro. John Norris and Bro. Rick Creel to officiate. Interment to follow at Warrior Cemetery.
