Melba Lucille Tingle, age 85, of Moody, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Melba is survived by her children, Gordon Wayne Davis, Lisa Gail Thomas, and Austin Lee Tingle; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Felix Scott Jordan, Melissa Jordan Blalock, and Richard Jordan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held in the chapel of Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Monday, January 27, 2025. The family will receive guests from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at noon. Interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery. We will not be traveling to the cemetery in a formal procession, but will reconvene graveside for a brief committal service prior to interment.
