Mr. Michael Hardin, Jr., passed to eternal rest Friday, March 11, 2022.  Family will receive friends in the chapel Monday, March 14, 2022 from 2:00-3:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at Hayden Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael J. Hardin, Sr., and Sieglinde Hardin; his fiance', Kathy Hardin; nephew, Christopher Hosmer; niece, Tiffany Goode. He is survived by his children; Chad (Jessica) Hardin, Chelsey (John) Hardin, Cassidy (John) Powell, Courtney Hardin; grandchildren, Brayden, MaKenna, Rylan, Corbin, Linleigh, Maddie, Anna Grace, Baxley, Reagan, Elijah, Dax, and grandbaby to be born in August; sisters, Andrea Goode, Anita Yarbrough, brother, Johnny West. Michael was well-known and respected. He was very hard working and independent, but very dependable and devoted. He loved his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed dropping a fishing line from time to time, racing, Mopar, and dirtbikes. He was proud of his prized racecars, but especially proud of his children and grandchildren. Michael enjoyed laughing, joking, being silly, and having a good time with friends and family. He had a knack for encouraging people to look at situations with reasonable and fair-minded consideration, giving balance to judging one's options and making decisions. Michael will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
