Michael Ray Hogan, Sr. of Cropwell, AL was born January 5, 1959, and passed away at the age of 65 on June 23, 2024. He loved living on Lake Logan Martin, where he enjoyed a wonderful life of family, friends and fishing.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Marlon Smith; father, Lloyd Hogan; sister, Kimberly Thompson; and sons, Justin Hogan and Kevin Kennedy.

He is survived by his children, Michael Hogan, Jr. (Tammie), Kristie Hogan and Ashley Gray (Chris); his siblings, Ricky Hogan (Becky), Allen Hogan (Sandy), Debbie Bishop and Karen Moore. He dearly loved his grandchildren, Jason, Gage (Brittney), Desiree, Alton, Zoey, Miah and Callie, 3 great-grandkids, and many nieces and nephews. He was a friend to many and all had a special place in his heart.

A visitation will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home in Warrior on Saturday, July 6, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the celebration of life service beginning at 12:00 p.m. All are welcome.
