Michelle "Shell" Allene Brown was born on June 5, 1972, and she entered her Heavenly home on July 3, 2023, at the age of 51. If you knew Shell, you knew her heart was gold and she loved tremendously. She adored her son and grandson, and was devoted to her husband Jeremy for 38 years. Shell enjoyed gardening, fishing, writing poetry, and caring for her loving pets. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Startley; grandparents, Charlie Walter Coin, Justine Coin, Margaret Waits, and Charles Startley. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jeremy Brown; son, Damon Brown (Caleigh); grandson, Xander Brown; mother, Florence Startley, siblings, Melissa Fanning (Allen), Heath Startley (Miracle), Heather Startley, Ashlie Startley, Clint Chase (Angie), and Jason Chase (Hannah); as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends. A memorial service and celebration of Shell's life will be held on Thursday, August 17, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Restoration Christian Fellowship: 3414 Skyline Drive, Warrior, AL 35180
