Morris Raymond Krotzer, age 88, of Warrior, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Morris proudly served in the United States Army for three years. After his time in the military, he and his brother, Wiley, opened Krotzer Bros. Volkswagen & Foreign Car Service Repair in Gardendale, Alabama. There was not much that Morris could not repair. After 30 years at Krotzer Bros., he retired from auto repair and opened Krotzer's Flea Market in Kimberly, Alabama, and managed it for the next 27 years. In total, Morris was in business for 57 years, and effortlessly made many friends during that time, because he never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Roy H. and Rosana L. Krotzer; his loyal and loving wife, Myra Faye Manning Krotzer; children, Janet Cook, Marcus Krotzer and Mark Krotzer; twin sister, Mary O'berry Krotzer; and brothers, Roy H. and Wiley S. Krotzer. He is survived by his daughter, Andi Krotzer Mize (Eric Perry); grandsons, Wesley (Sharon) and Jonathan (Jessica) Mize; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation and viewing will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Sunday, November 17. The family will receive guests from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Warrior Cemetery.
