Myra Palmer passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at age 73. She is survived by five children, Amanda Palmer (Jay McCay), Jason Palmer, Gerri Sartin (Jack), Larry Palmer (Vicki), and Janette Humphries; grandchildren, Katey Nash (Travis Blackmon), Tim Nash (Ashley Lambert), Marsha Humphries, Felicia Humphries (Trey Watts), Christy Hale (Brian), Sheena Sartin, Shara Black (Ryan), Shalea Bone (Stephen), and Cody Palmer; a host great grandchildren; one sister, Ann Hawkins; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Myra was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Palmer; her parents, D.E. Sims and Elmer Gurley Hall; and one brother, Ronald Sims. She loved her family and will be missed everyday. Visitation will be Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Graves Gap Cemetery.
