Nell Cooper, age 83, of Warrior, Alabama passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. Nell was born on December 13, 1940, to parents Harry Luther Campbell and Mabel Carmen Finley Campbell. She is survived by her loving husband, Angus Holley Cooper; children, Chris Durden, Terri Lambert, Steven Cooper and Brian Cooper; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.

A visitation for Mrs. Cooper will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on the evening of Wednesday, August 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery the following day, August 8, beginning at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow.

If you wish to send flowers to the family, please order potted plants or bouquets that the family can take home with them after the visitation Wednesday to enjoy. The Alabama National Cemetery does not allow the covering of the grave with floral arrangements such as sprays/stands.
