Nettie Delores Stover, age 80, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020. Nettie graduated from Warrior High School, class of 1958. She married her high school sweetheart, Billy J. Stover, with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage. Nettie was a hobbyist, who enjoyed arts and crafts. She was affectionately known as "Granny" by all her grandbabies, who loved her very much. Nettie was preceded in death by her father, Emory A. Sandlin; mother, Opal Lee Sandlin; and brothers, Phillip and Henry Sandlin. She is survived by her husband, Billy John Stover; daughters, Tammy Stover and Stacey Headrick (Randal); grandchildren, Brian Henderson, Jacob Darty (Ellen), Cody Headrick, Kaci Vinson, Ashley Ranson, Mandi Headrick, and Samantha Headrick; and great-grandchildren, Brody Henderson, Barrett Henderson, and Preslee Ranson, brothers; John Sandlin (Betty), Dan Sandlin (Brenda), sister, Ann Jett (Dan). Graveside service will be held at Warrior Cemetery on Sunday, March 1, at 2:00pm.
