Norma "Kay" McBrayer went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at age 79. She is survived by three children, Kenneth James (Christina), Nancy Gittman (Charles Taylor), and Daril Reed (Wendi); daughter-in-law, Pamela James; grandchildren, Madison, Allie, Donald, Jessie, Austin, Scott, Stevie, Kristina, Jimmie, Mackenzie, and Bailee; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Jeffrey Jr., Josie, Riley, Brody,Emerson, Adlie, Jena, and Natan; three brothers, Charlie, Freddie and Gary McBrayer; and numerous nephews, nieces, and other extended family. Norma was preceded in death by her son, Steven James; two grandchildren, Joy and Glennis; her parents, Fred and Nola McBrayer; and brothers, Richard, Tommy, and Timothy McBrayer. She was fun loving and loved her children and grandchildren. Norma was known as a care giver to everyone. She will be missed so much. A better mother could not be found. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery.
