Patricia Weinman
Dake
May 2, 1938 — Jun 24, 2026
Warrior
Patricia Weinman Dake, age 88, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Patricia was born to Neal Raymond Weinman and Kathrine Weinman, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by the love of her life, Charles David Dake, with whom she shared a beautiful life and family, and their daughter, Tammy Leigh Dake.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Rae Nunn (Mark) and Charla Dake Woodcock (James); her grandchildren, Stephanie Lovell Doran (David), Steven Heath Nunn, and Taylor Leigh Goodwin (Matt); her cherished great-grandchildren, Brody Lovell, Brantley Lovell, Rayden Goodwin, and Baylee Goodwin; her brother, Albert Lee Weinman; her sisters, Shirley Sullivan and Bridgette Thomas (Cliff); along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Patricia lived a life defined by love, faith, kindness, strength, and a love for our Lord like no other. Through her generosity, compassion, forgiveness, and unwavering faith, she quietly demonstrated Christ's love every day.
She was a devoted member of North Highland Baptist Church for over 50 years, where she faithfully served and found great joy in her church family.
She had a servant's heart. Whether caring for family, encouraging a friend, or helping someone in need, Patricia gave of herself freely. Her family was her greatest joy, and she loved each one with her whole heart.
Patricia's legacy is not measured by what she owned but by the countless lives she touched. She showed her family how to love unconditionally, serve selflessly, forgive freely, and trust God through every season of life. She lived her life by example.
Though her family will miss her every day, they rejoice in knowing she is whole again, free from pain, and forever in the presence of her Savior.
Visitation will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home on Friday, June 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Bro.
