Patrick O'Neil Yessick, age 49, of Cleveland, Alabama, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023. Neil was a very kind and loving friend to everyone he met. He would do anything to help someone out. He never met a stranger. He was a wonderful son and brother to his sister, Jennifer, and brother, Eric.

Neil was a tile-setter by trade, and his work was excellent. he loved working on cars and attending car shows, and just about anything to do with classic cars. He enjoyed wrestling, including midget wrestling. Neil could bring smiles within minutes minutes of entering a room. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family, and in every gathering, his humor would bring belly rolls of laughter. He was a joy to be around and his presence will be missed.

Neil was preceded in death by his dads, Frankie O'Neil Yessick, and his step-dad, William Eugene Yarbrough; grandparents, Frank Yessick, Jr., Trudie Odene Davis, Herman and Annie Mae Robertson, William Earl and Helen Marjorie Yarbrough. He is survived by mother, Patricia Anne Yarbrough; step-mom, Debra Yessick; sister, Jennifer LeAnne Tumblin; brother-in-law, Timothy Tumblin; brother, Dr. Eric Jason Yarbrough; nieces, Beth Samples (Justen), Bekah Tumblin, Abby and Mary Grace, great-nephew, Elijah Samples aunts and uncles, Rebecca Fuller (Randy), James Yarbrough (Penny), Robert and Phyllis Stipes; cousins, Bryan Fuller (Mary), Chris Fuller, April Thompson (Robert), Chris Stipes (Katie), Ryan Yarbrough, Justin Yarbrough (Yvonne), Kalie Brewster (Collin), a host of wonderful friends who cared for him dearly.

The family will receive visitors at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 1:00-2:30, followed by a chapel service. A private interment will be held at a later date, so the family requests no live flowers to go on the grave, but only your presence.
